With Mother's Day coming up on the 12th, many people are struggling on what to get that special lady in their family. Let's be real, we all procrastinate sometimes. Joss and Main

Have you ever been to the site Joss and Main? If not, then open a new tab and check it out right now, because this online shop is seriously amazing! They have countless styles of designer inspired furniture for fractions of designer prices. It's like the interior design equivalent of dailylook. Every few days, Joss and Main features different "events" which each cater to certain styles or pieces. For example, today they have an event going on thats called Poolside Soiree, where they feature the cutest pillows, table mats, drink dispensers, and everything else that you could possibly need for a summer party all at very reasonable prices. If you're into the farmhouse style, they've got that. If you're looking for chic and stylish lighting fixtures, Joss and Main has got you covered. Seriously, I could spend all day perusing this site!
If I had my dream apartment and my dream paycheck, here's what I would buy:
Aden Wool Rug- I love the Moroccan inspired print. This would look great in a bedroom.

Sarah Table Lamp- This would look adorable on my nightstand. I love the shabby-chic look.

Syros Wingback Chair- This is from their Destination: Santorini collection. I love the modern chevron mixed with the classic winged style.

Teak Tapas Dining Set- I could definitely picture sitting here poolside on a hot Summer day. The triangle seats are so unique, you definitely don't see pieces like that just anywhere.

It's definitely worth checking out Joss and Main. Who knows, you might just find that one special piece that you've always been looking for!

Have you ever been on jossandmain.com before? What's your favorite piece?

Stay peachy!

P.S. I am not sponsored by Joss and Main in any way, I'm just a big fan of their website and their products!

What to Wear: Baseball Games

The warm pretzels churning at the concession stands, the muffled voice of the announcers over the loudspeaker, the  uniformness of the stands as they show their pride for their teams colors: baseball season is officially here. This brings up a good question of many girls. What to wear? No matter what, you want to represent your team's colors, but many people struggle with how to look equally as cute as they are spirited. The weather is also an annoying factor, since spring is such an unpredictable season. It could be raining, blazing hot, windy, or even snowing if you live in northern states.
I'll show you three different outfits to look polished and spirited at your next baseball game.

1. Bring on the Sunshine!

1. Baseball Hat
To avoid those embarrassing hairline sunburns, stay shielded with a neutral, light-colored baseball cap that won't attract the sun. This khaki one from Madewell is super boyish and will give a carefree feel to the outfit.
2. Sunscreen
When the sun is beating down on your skin for hours on end, you'll want some coverage. Clarins sunscreen provides ample coverage without getting oily!
3. Baseball Tee
This crop top by Victoria's Secret is easy-breezy and won't leave you sweaty.
4. Denim Shorts
Pick a pair that's comfortable and lightweight. I chose this denim pair by J.Crew because they have amazing quality denim.
5. Flip-Flops
Sporting events are not the time to bring out the high-end gladiator sandals, or white ballet flats. Instead, opt for a pair of cheaper flip-flops so you won't care if they get ruined, and that will keep your feet cool. These flip-flops from Banana Republic are a great quality and a great price.
6. Sunglasses
Classic aviators are the way to go. Ray-Bans are cute, but will still get the job done.
7. Throw everything in a light weight carry-all tote. Nothing is worse than having to lug around a heavy purse at a baseball game. Just bring the essentials here.
8. Water, water, and more water! The most important thing to remember when staying out in the sun is to keep hydrated! I love how Bobble water bottles have built-in filters so that no matter where you get your water from, you know that its clean.

2. Rain, Rain, Go Away!
1. Earrings
Add some simple diamond studs to jazz up and feminize a masculine outfit! These studs from Juicy Couture are basic yet fancy, and could be used for any occasion
2. Waterproof Mascara
Trust me, you do NOT want those raccoon eyes when you get caught in the rain. Waterproof makeup is definitely a good idea. Bonus: This Clinique mascara will protect you from the rain and give you voluminous lashes at the same time!
3. Rain boots
I love love love Hunter rain boots! They are on the pricy side, but well worth the investment. Tall boots will definitely protect you from both puddles, and soggy garbage in the stands. gross.
4. Basic Denim
Comfort is key while you'll be sitting down for a few hours, so slip on your favorite pair of jeans and hit the road. I chose these straight leg jeans by J.Crew because they seem comfortable, and the distressed holes give them a relaxed vibe.
5. Baseball Tee
If you are expecting showers, a 70 degree day can easily jump down into the 50's. Choose a long sleeve tee just to be safe.
6. Umbrella
An umbrella is a no-brainer for rainy days. This bubble umbrella from Target is absolutely adorable, and with a price tag under $20, you can't beat it!

3. Baby it's Cold Outside!
1. Jacket
A simple military jacket is perfect for those cooler early-in-the-season days. Bonus if it's in your team's colors!
2. Blanket
Those stands can get pretty chilly, so it's always a good idea to bring a blanket to sit on or even wrap around you.
3. Jeans
Simple dark wash jeans will keep your legs warm. If it's really cold outside, you could even layer some leggings underneath!
4. Wool Socks
I don't know about you, but my toes ALWAYS get cold during the cooler months. Wool socks can assure you that extra bit of warmth. How cute is that leopard print?
5. Gloves
Kate Spade does it again. These gloves are simply adorable! Even if you don't live in the city, they jazz up any cool-weather outfit.
6. Boots
Sorel makes great quality boots, and these ankle boots are perfect for protecting your feet from snow, wind, and cold.

Welcome to "Just Peachy"

Hello,
Wow, this feels unreal. I can't believe I am actually starting a blog!  After reading so many successful blogs such as College Prepster, Atlantic Pacific, Annie's Eats, and Cap Hill Style (as well as many many more!), I decided to start a blog of my own. I really wanted to and needed to let my creative outlet flow, and this blog will be the way to accomplish that. One can only write so many boring research and closed-reading papers before their brain explodes! I will be blogging about all kinds of things, including fashion, design, art, travel, food, school, and just well, life. I chose the name "Just Peachy" for a few reasons, one being that I just love peaches! There is no other feeling like biting into a ripe, juicy, warm peach on a hot summer day. I also say the word "peachy" a lot, so it just seemed fitting.
I hope that you will give my blog a chance, and look forward to daily posts!
Stay Peachy,
Jennifer
